99 Nights in the Forest

Chop trees and feed the campfire — every level it gains pushes the treeline back and widens the safe ring you can shelter in after dark. From night two, the Deer hunts anyone caught outside that ring, and it cannot be killed: only outrun, or stunned with a flashlight. Cultists raid the camp every fourth night. Four children are caged out in the forest under guard; carry each one home and every night you survive is worth another day. Reach day 99.
